Narrow aisle lift trucks work by increasing the ratio of the storage space to the width of the aisle. Yale features the double reach NDR and the single reach NR units for aisle widths of eight to ten feet. The Yale Narrow Aisle trucks offer a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment that has various control handle and stance configurations and apply best-in-class ergonomics.
NDR & NR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To meet a wider variety of operations, there are many control handle configurations such as the aft stance, the choice of fore, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology provides fast lifting speeds along with powerful acceleration and deceleration. It has been made for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes which combine to increase the amount of cargo transported during a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The trunion mounting and tapered roller bearings are part of the mast reach assembly. This increases the mast rigidity and durability; along with the gusseted rear frame weldment, as well as the reach assembly carriage that are reinforced for long life.
Power Lowering: Yale offers industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly enhance the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: Although regenerative lowering can lessen battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: In order to greatly reduce energy, the electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps. The steering tiller is adjustable by the operator and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable so as to reduce operator exhaustion. In the start-up process, drive tire centers start automatically.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also called narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These machines are designed for the manual handling of racked loads that are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors raise both the load and the operator to its required height. This height could be over 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are usually guided by rail or wire when utilized in very narrow aisle applications.
