End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling business for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features which are somewhat comparable to sit-down electric forklift units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation settings which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent choice for applications which need regular off and on access, since their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading equipment used by various businesses which maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent alternative for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not need for immediate use in a safe and efficient way.
All basic reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The tines also include a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not just provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it really easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
