The lift truck application all around the globe has grown in insurmountable measures in regards to the manufacturing and warehousing businesses. A lift truck is a motorized industrial truck used for raising and transporting items. The machine has gradually changed and these days there are many modern designs for moving and raising things. In the past decades, the machine has significantly grown and the designs have evolved so there are various trucks and numerous modern designs to suit each particular application. Loads are capable of lifting and reaching to greater heights than ever before.

Lift truck models are available in a large variety of different power types like: gasoline, diesel, electric, diesel and LP or liquid propane units. The load capacities of these units range greatly as there are many manufacturers building and designing them. Like for instance, some models could reach a height of more than 10,000 kg or more than 3000.

The truck's frame is the base of the power source and is the site where the other features are connected. These various features include an overhead guard, mast and axles, and the counterweight. On the rear side there is a counterweight connected to the truck. This counterweight counterbalances the load which is being lifted so as to keep the machinery stable.

The operator sits inside a cab and utilizes the controls to dictate the equipment's movements. The overhead is one more feature, which is a metal roof in order to protect the operator from falling things. Hydraulic tilt cylinders mounted to the mast and the frame. These tilts turn the mast so as to engage the load. The mast is a vertical assembly that lifts and lowers the cargo with the interlocking rails to provide lateral stability.

There are many businesses and warehouses in the manufacturing fields that utilize forklifts for transportation and lifting every day. Today, there are a lot of different new and second-hand forklifts offered in the market at competitive prices.
